Old bridges at Earith

The old Seven Holes Bridge at EarithEarith bridges in the 1930’s and days gone by …The old Earith Suspension Bridge

Here is a picture of the Earith Suspension Bridge – known then as the Earith High Bridge. It was the second bridge as you leave Earith when heading towards Haddenham or Willingham.

Below is the old Seven Holes Bridge at Earith where there were seven sluices. The modern sluice now stands at the same location.

To the right is the view (May 2011) from the sluice looking in the direction of the Denver Sluice and eventually the sea.
